Biography

Megan Tilston is a furniture maker whose work has been shown in exhibitions across North America.

Her career in woodworking began at Merganzer Furniture in 2004 after lending a hand on a steambending project. With a background in graphic design, she spent the next decade learning everything there was to learn about wood and studying all aspects of furniture making through an informal apprenticeship where she was encouraged to pursue her own designs as she graduated from shop assistant to furniture maker. Megan's approach to building furniture is based in a desire to create pieces that are timeless with a high degree of craftsmanship.
